Dr. Simi Paul believes only in providing high-quality dental care for her patients. She is very keen in practicing the conservative and preventive dentistry and does not suggest any dental treatments that are unnecessary. Professional teeth cleanings are scheduled twice a year, while X-rays are normally done once a year. The key is to keep coming back for teeth cleanings to prevent dental problems altogether or to treat the problems in the earlier stages.
Children are not just small adults. They are not always patient and cooperative during a dental exam. Dr. Paul knows how to examine and treat children in ways that make them comfortable. In addition, Dr. Paul's office is arranged and decorated with children in mind. We offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to help ease kids during dental treatments.
Fillings help restore teeth damaged by decay back to their normal function and can prevent further decay. Dr. Paul will consider a number of factors when choosing which type of filling material is best for you. These factors include the extent of the repair, where in your mouth the filling is needed and the cost
Dental implants are replacement tooth roots. Implants provide a strong foundation for fixed (permanent) or removable replacement teeth that are made to match your natural teeth. An implant can be placed immediately after the extraction along with bone grafting. We also offer implant-supported hybrid dentures.
Dental veneers are wafer-thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front surface of teeth for your perfect smile. These shells are bonded to the front of the teeth changing their color, shape, size, or length.
Bridges and crowns are fixed prosthetic devices that are cemented onto existing teeth or implants. Crowns are used most commonly to entirely cover or "cap" a damaged tooth or cover an implant. Bridges are commonly used to cover a space if you’re missing one or more teeth.
A root canal is a treatment used to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or has become infected. During a root canal procedure, the nerve and pulp are removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and sealed. Without treatment, the tissue surrounding the tooth will become infected and abscess may form. Crown is required on the tooth after a root canal treatment.
If a tooth has been broken or damaged by decay, Dr. Paul will try to fix it with a filling, crown, root canal or other dental treatment. But when there are too much damage and infection for the tooth to be repaired, the tooth may need to be extracted — or removed — from its socket in the bone. Bone grafting is also offered to prepare the site for a future implant.
Dentures are removable appliances that can replace missing teeth and help restore your smile. If you’ve lost all of your natural teeth, whether, from gum disease, tooth decay or injury, replacing missing teeth will benefit your appearance and your health. We also offer implant-supported hybrid dentures.
